The story
follows a major league baseball player, Cory Brand, as he recovers from an
alcohol addiction that was fueled by the pain of childhood abuse.
Cory attends
the Celebrate Recovery program at a local church as a condition of his
suspension from his team and eventually comes to realize that only God can fill
the void in his life that he had been trying to fill with alcohol.
